18 Things All Harry Potter Fans Know To Be True

5. The Final Battle Was Riddikulus

In the book, the Final Battle is absolutely epic. It is written in such a way that it's difficult to see how Harry could possibly defeat Voldemort, especially when he is so adamant in killing Harry himself, and in front of witnesses. Everyone involved in the Battle of Hogwarts watched the final duel between Harry and Voldemort, fearing for the death of a teenager who would determine the future of the entire wizarding world. But this was all lost in the films because when Harry and Voldemort finally reach the ground after their weird fall from the tower, the duel is over quickly and then Voldemort floats away like dandruff on a windy day. The end. And when Harry does enter the Great Hall, no one even acknowledges his presence, even though he's just saved all of their lives and the future.
