Your teenage self spoke in riddles for the attention of your crush in the hope that they would ask you what was wrong, and then ask you to marry them - because that's how your fifteen year old self thought life worked. You would post a bulletin that was daring and dark and not many people would understand that it was some obscure lyric which made most people think that you were a bit weird, and probably a bit of a psycho.
