Adolf Hilter and his Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels are shown on the right of this picture, with two British Navy sailors on the left, and the German leader saying: "Unless we can divide those two fellows - we're sunk!"

Aiming to show Britain's strength and unity, this poster was designed to highlight that friendship and togetherness could lead the nation to victory over the Germans.
