Another piece of propaganda designed with the intention of encouraging the population to save up to "defend our freedom", this poster looked back at three iconic events in British history.

With Sir Francis Drake's success during the Spanish Armada in 1588, Admiral Robert Blake's victory at the Battle of Portland in 1653 and Lord Horatio Nelson's success at the Siege of Malta in 1800 all immortalised, the fourth image was intended to encourage the population to create their own history in 1940.
