First published by the Ministry of Information in December 1941, this poster was part of the "call-up" effort to try and get British women to join the workforce and help the war effort (seeing as the majority had returned to being housewives following World War I).

Similar to Soviet posters of the generation, it appears to show the archetypal proletarian woman embracing equality.
