With the Russians (or the Soviets) singlehandedly holding back the Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front from 1941-1943, Britain needed to provide Joseph Stalin and the USSR with all the material and financial aid it could.

This was one of a number of posters expressing that "Stalin must be sustained" if the Allies were to win the Second World War.
