20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

16. Twining Tea Shop And Museum

Everyone knows that the British love their tea, and you won't find a company much more British than Twinings. The Twinings Tea Shop and Museum, located on The Strand, offers the quintessential tea experience for anyone interested in its history in the country. The building for the Twining Tea Shop and Museum was originally bought by Thomas Twining back in 1706, in an attempt to provide competition against the growing number of coffee houses in the city. Now, it's more famous for its museum, which shows the history of the famous company. The tea shop can get a little crowded, but worth visiting thanks to its prestigious status as the oldest shop in the City of Westminster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bbkIWW5X-g
