So it turns out William McKinley was kind of the worst. The 25th President Of The United States assassinated six months into his second term, and not a moment too soon, because he was a monumental jackass. Sure, he led the country to victory in the Spanish-American War and did his best to keep local industry intact, but he was the worst husband ever. Which is saying a lot, considering the amount of terrible husbands have served in the White House. McKinley's wife suffered from epilepsy and would have quite violent seizures fairly regularly. How did her loving husband deal with such things when she did so in public? He chucked a hanky over her face and carried on.
