Ancient crocodiles - or Deinosuchus - were so big that they weighed more than eight times as much as a modern-day croc. A fight with a 315-stone croc is only likely to end one way, let's face it... So powerful were these huge reptiles, in fact, that their bite was stronger than any other dinosaur. No wonder their name means "terrible crocodile"...
