17. In His First TV Ad, Ronald McDonald Wore A Tray On His Head
Wearing a tray carrying a hamburger, a milkshake and French fries on top of his head, Ronald McDonald was introduced to children as the worlds newest, silliest, hamburger-eatingest clown who liked to watch TV while eating those delicious McDonalds hamburgers. He also wore a tray around his waist and, in order to demonstrate that it was magic, Ronald would remove a hamburger only for another to take its place. Oh, and he wore a McDonalds paper cup over his nose. Other than that, he looked exactly the same as the Ronald McDonald you see today.
