7. The Accent (& Kerry Katona)
If you're a Warringtonian and you've ever had the misfortune of trying to describe the accent, we're with you. "It's sort of... a bit Mancunian, mixed with a bit of Scouse. It depends on what area of Warrington really. I mean, it's Northern! It's definitely Northern. I mean not totally Scouse!... No, not like the Lancashire accent." You desperately try and scramble for a celebrity example of someone with the Warrington accent to help. They wonder why you've promptly stopped talking. "Sorry," you say, "I was just trying to think of a celebrity from Warrington." You inevitably think of Kerry Katona. "Yeah I mean... it's a Northern accent, it's a Northern accent."
