8. Uttering The Magical Phrase "It's Not Like It Used To Be When I Was Younger."

If you haven't already had children of your own by the time you hit your thirties there are plenty of other signs that you're starting to become increasingly like your parents, not least the expression "it's not like it used to be when I was younger." From popular music through to the local park, this expression becomes used more and more frequently once you've passed the big three-oh, and it's pretty much guaranteed that it'll show no signs of abating the older you get. That is, unless you're unfortunate enough to end up going senile, in which case you won't have a clue what "younger" means any more...
