18. Uttering The Famous Last Words, "I'm Only Having A Couple Tonight..."
People in their twenties often live for the weekends, working hard all week before hitting the pub straight after work on a Friday night and drinking through until Sunday evening. Perhaps the lifestyle of a twentysomething isn't quite like that for everyone, but once you hit your thirties a degree of self-deception starts to kick in. In an effort to show more restraint the thirtysomething says to their friends as they arrive at the pub, "I'm only having a couple tonight. Got things to do tomorrow." Famous last words...
