They love their pets, their friends, they love you, they love everything! Saying that, all their emotions seem a bit extreme one way or the other; they're either bouncing off the walls with excitement or throwing a tantrum over a casual misunderstanding. It also makes you uncomfortable how easily the word 'love' is thrown around on a daily basis. You're used to the phrase 'I love you' signifying a deep commitment that carries a lot of weight when you eventually build up the courage to say it for the first time. These days, however, you lend someone a stapler and instead of a simple 'thanks' you get a 'awesome, I love you!' It's unnatural to be that happy all the time and it needs to stop.
