You're complete strangers in a room filled with other complete strangers and all the while you're looking for a friendly face or some common ground that never feels like it's coming. They don't want your life story but at the same time you can't tell them how funny Ricardo is at your work because they have no idea who Ricardo is and probably won't get it. They'll also think that you're probably a little bit racist when you try to mimic his accent. Looking for something to bond over should be easy considering you have the ability to be able to talk about anything that has ever happened in the world; but once they tell you that they don't like Game Of Thrones... Game over.
