18. Paper Iron Man
We get it - there's an "ironic" approach to costumes now that mean that some people will self-consciously sabotage their own costumes in the hope of scoring more points for awfulness. So for every intricately crafted, home-made Iron Man suit with real flashing lights and sculpted body armour, there's always going to be the guy who spent a couple of days making a bargain basement version out of paper or cardboard, chuckling to himself at how amazing the response will be to his hilarious snarky costume. 17. Garbage Iron Man
This pair of Iron Man charlatans probably had a lot of fun, but what they've done with their strips of paper and over-abundance of cellotape is to devalue what is presumably one of their favourite characters in the name of a few cheap laughs. Or in other words, exactly what Marvel and Shane Black did with their reinvention of The Mandarin.
