Not only is the Coca-Cola logo familiar to people in all corners of the world, with that trademark swoosh and font unmistakable in almost any language (apparently 94% of worlds population know it), the phrase "Coca-Cola" is said to similarly transcend all languages and foreign cultures. Apparently it's as universal as "OK", to the point that Coke launched an OK Soda in the nineties so they'd have products named after the two most recognizable words in the world.
17. Only Two Countries Don't Sell It
Those countries are, obviously, North Korea and Cuba. North Korea only had an embargo on US goods entering the country overturned during George W Bush's presidency, whileas Castro's Communist republic is still in America's bad books. And so, no Coca-Cola for them either. What price, socialism?
