14. They're The Oldest Sponsors Of The Olympic Games

It's true! Coca-Cola have been the official sponsor of the Olympic games since 1928, which has lead to controversy on a number of occasions. Most recently people called for Coke to remove their sponsorship of this year's Sochi Winter Olympics, what with Russia's totally backwards approach to LGBT rights and laws, something which the company ultimately didn't acquiesce to. 13. They Were Also Pals With The Nazis

They certainly weren't the only ones, but Coca-Cola were certainly one of the more high-profile companies to do business with the Nazis during World War II. A division of the company continued to operate in the fascist-run country, with several of the top execs actually being public members of the Nazi Party. In fact Fanta, Coke's orange-flavoured drink, was invented in Nazi Germany since they had trouble importing the syrup used to make Coca-Cola.
