Quig There were ructions in Liverpool when the council tried to shut Quiggins down. So much so that it stayed open for a good few years after they first announced its closure. But all the tears of all the emos in Liverpool ultimately did nothing. Quiggins officially closed its doors on the 1st July and the spirit of independent enterprise took yet another dong. Sure we have Grand Central Hall on Renshaw Street now, which basically replicates Quiggins in every way but there seemed to be something extra magical about the old curio emporium that hasn€™t quite been replicated since.
