11. Become A Student Ambassador
Most people turn up to University with some quite naive thoughts about what it is to be a student and not everyone gets off to a good start; they're homesick, can't work out how to use the washing machine or can't stand the person they're sharing a room with. By becoming a Student Ambassador you can help others by making sure your bad experiences doesn't happen again and it's your chance to do some good and make the Freshers feel welcome, relaxed, positive and optimistic about being on campus- or terrorise them and tell them the place is haunted, whatever.
