He's kind of like if Barack Obama and Brian Cox had a little space baby and breast fed it on astrophysics and awesome (and figured out time travel, because he's older than both of them).
The dude loves a good tweet and, as a guy with numerous awards, countless honorary doctorates and a reputation for not taking any crap when it comes to his beloved science, his Twitter account is definitely one to keep an eye on if you like your science served up with a healthy side order of sass.
Frankly, if you're going to get your scientific soundbites from anyone, it should be the person who was deemed worthy to take up the helm of Carl Sagan's epic Cosmos and bring the wonders of the universe to a whole new generation of budding astrophysicists.
