One of Nixon's favourite pastimes was ten-pin bowling - and he was one of the key men behind the creation of the bowling alley which is situated in the White House basement (and is called the "Harry S Truman Bowling Alley"). In fact, Nixon was so good at bowling that it believed his highest score was an extremely impressive 232.
