1. JFK's Assassin Lee Harvey Oswald May Have Plotted To Shoot Nixon As Well
Astonishingly, there exists a large amount of evidence to suggest that President John F Kennedy's killer was also looking to assassinate Richard Nixon. On November 22, 1963, JFK was shot by Oswald in Dallas, Texas, just hours after Nixon had been there himself. There are some reports that Oswald was hoping Nixon would also be there later in the day. However, what is perhaps even stranger is the fact that Oswald's wife later testified to the Warren Commission that her husband had suggested he wanted to kill Nixon. She claimed that Oswald read in the paper in April 1963 that Nixon was going to be in town - although no such report appears to ever have been written and Nixon did not visit Dallas at that time - and, after grabbing a pistol, turned to her and said: "Nixon is coming. I want to go have a look." Supposedly she then locked Oswald in the bathroom until he agreed to hand over the gun and her husband agreed to stay in. The allegations seem shaky at best, but it does beg the question: Did Lee Harvey Oswald want to assassinate Richard Nixon as well as John F Kennedy?
