18. There Not Being Enough Room In The Narrowest (And Best) Bar On Tyneside

Proving that you can make a gem out of even the most unlikely of shaped buildings, The Central is easily the most interesting bar on either side of the Tyne It's a strange, coffin-shaped (but beautiful) old building, that attracts as many normal, honest drinkers as it does beard-wearing hipsters thanks to a cracking range of drinks and a new Whiskey Lounge. It's just a shame it's not about 5 times bigger.
