Particularly midweek in June, where you're lucky if a single customer has come in for anything other than free samples. Because Chocolate is usually only bought in large quantities for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, that leaves most of the Summer a barren wasteland for the average chocolate shop. 

After re-organising the display twice, dusting down the shelves three times, and perfecting your dance routine to the entire store playlist, you finally admit that you've run out of ideas and retreat behind the counter to cry.
