15. Lifesum
Back to the health theme (Apple just loves its health apps!) and Lifesum is designed not at just one area of being healthy but tries to tackle your eating patterns instead, so if you're one that loves one too many of those 'cheeky Nandos' then it will try and help curb those habits. It's a pretty well established application which has already won numerous awards and was on Apple's editors choice in 2014. The app states that it 'helps you make better food choices, improve your exercise, and reach your health goals. Build healthy habits in small, sustainable steps and make health a part of your lifestyle, not another thing on your to-do list'. But this is, of course, with some limits. There's different packages you can take out, so although the app is free, you can take out a gold membership which syncs with fitness trackers and wearables to track exercise and view meal information down to the very last detail with information on sodium, potassium, fiber, sugar, cholesterol, saturated and unsaturated fat - a year's membership is $39.99. Thankfully, the app does a lot without having to pay premium prices and it has all the Apple Health and Apple Watch whistles and bells that your life needs to make you feel better about yourself. It also keeps you maintained on each glass or bottle of water you drink. The daily goal is set to 8 glasses, or 68 fl. oz, by default, but can be adjusted based on your personal needs. Water intake data can then be exported to the official Health app.
