Like the final scene in Men In Black where the giant interstellar bug gets blown in half and still keeps coming, normal Earth cockroaches have the ability to live after decapitation. The disgusting little creatures will continue to skitter around your floor for another nine days before dying from hunger only because they cannot eat without a mouth. Next time you find yourself with an infestation, remember as you prepare for your bug hunt that headshots don't count.
