Ever wandered into the local barbers and asked for an "ambition" or a "Kim Jong-un"? No? Well, next time you intend to get a haircut, maybe you should consider it. The shaved sides and the parted bob on top look has become so popular in North Korea that young adult males are regularly asking for it when they go to the barbers so that they can resemble their Supreme Leader.
Interestingly, Kim Jong-un reportedly cuts his own hair because he has an extreme fear of barbers. It appears a horrendous experience as a child led to this irrational phobia.

Okay, so Kim Jong-un wasn't voted as Sexiest Man Alive by any publication you may expect to release such a poll - but satirical magazine The Onion did put his name at the top of their list. Bizarrely, Chinese media did not realise the satirical nature of the article and they ran stories reporting it as fact that the Supreme Leader was the world's sexiest man in 2012.
