When walking down Main Street USA have you ever paid that much attention to the colour of the walkways? We doubt it.

Well that colour was chosen for a very specific reason. Aside from being a red carpet to walk down (after all as a guest you are the stars of the show) it's also intended to be picture perfect.

Disney consulted with Kodak when choosing the red colour. It was designed to look great in photographs, so you can take all the pictures you like without the pavements looking too bright or dull.
