18. There Are Several "Ghost" Stations On The Tube

Given the Tube has been running for over 150 years, it's not surprising there are a few disused stations. The most famous "ghost" station, British Museum, is found between Tottenham Court Road and Holborn. Other ghostly stations include Churchill's wartime bunker of Down Street, York Road, and Aldwych, pictured above. Due to its reasonably intact nature and accessibility, Aldwych has been used in films such as V for Vendetta.
