In March of 2009, Michael Jackson made a huge announcement with news of a new tour - "This Is It" - that would see the superstar perform ten concerts in London, followed by shows in Paris, New York City and Mumbai. It would be Jackson's first major series of concerts since the HIStory World Tour finished in 1997 and he described it as his "final curtain call", hinting at retirement after it was over.
