Jim Morrison was a singer who embodied the spirit of the 1960s (and early '70s) music scene. The Doors' lead singer is often cited by music critics as one of the most influential figures in rock history.

Sadly, Morrison passed away when he was just 27 years of age, thus making him a member of the infamous 27 Club. He was found dead in a Paris bathtub due to heart failure, that many believe was the result of a drug overdose.

Fortunately, his music lives on, and his spirit may also be going strong.

As Rolling Stone reported back in 2009, a photo surfaced of a man pictured next to the singer's grave, with a ghostly figure looming in the background. The character bore an eerie resemblance to Morrison.

The 'Lizard King's' ghost is also said to have frequented a Los Angeles-based Mexican Restaurant. Prior to becoming an eating establishment, the building housed the studio where The Doors recorded their album, "L.A. Woman." Morrison allegedly haunts the bathroom, the spot where the sound booth was previously located. The restaurant owner claimed that he could sense the frontman's ghostly presence.

Does Jim Morrison's spirit now reside in an upscale Mexican eatery, or is this simply a clever publicity stunt designed to sell a few extras quesadillas to would-be ghost hunters?
