5 Reasons Why Microsoft Is No Longer Worth It

Microsoft Logo Microsoft is slowly collapsing in on itself. It was once the power of the enterprise, and still is to a vast degree. However homes, businesses and schools are slowly giving up desktops for iMacs, laptops for Macbooks, or even iPads and Android tablets. While it still holds dominion over its own traditional markets, at least for now, it has so far failed to force itself into emerging markets, like Smartphones and Tablets. It's lost a lot of people, other than die hard fanboys, in the gaming world. And its latest OS release has been greeted with a mixture of criticism, dislike, outright hatred, and the occasional good review. They're losing it, it seems. Something's gone wrong in the software giant. Let's have a look at the five key aspects of Microsoft, and whether or not they are really worth the money, time and effort their users put in. Just a little about my background before we begin, and I get labelled with "Mac fanboy" etc. I grew up using Windows. I use Windows at least once a day. Until recently, Office was my default office suite. I do not hate Microsoft. I do however, have a problem with simply choosing a product because that's the brand I've always used. Here's five reasons why Microsoft is simply no longer worth it;
