50 Things You Need To Spot At Universal Studios Hollywood
Your checklist you must complete...
Universal Studios Hollywood is one of the oldest theme parks in the world and has evolved considerably in the 100 years since it first opened its doors to the public.
Over the last 5 years in particular the park has been completely revamped with around 70% being refurbished or changed completely. There's all new attractions and even The Simpsons have found a home here. When the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened just last month it became Universal's jewel in the crown. The finishing touch to the updated park.
One of the reasons the park has been so successful is the attention to detail that Universal put into every square foot of attraction. The entire park is filled with Easter Eggs for you to spot and enjoy.
As a working film studio Universal are used to creating backdrops that seem incredibly real. The same goes for the actual park. Many areas are dressed just like the sound stages on their backlots with all the detail, right down to the patterned curtains in the upper story windows. You can spend hours taking in all the sights (and sounds) of the park.
We have put together a list of the 50 things that you need to keep a look out for as you travel around the park. Let this be your guide to experiencing Universal to the max...
50. The King Himself
At Citywalk look out for the 8th Wonder of the World. Kong is perched high up on the buildings.
49. The Director
As you enter the park take a look at the statue. The Director is lining up the perfect shot. You are the stars of the show as you walk in through the gates.
48. The Book Shop
Look out for the bookshop in the upper lot. At certain times of the day Beetlejuice likes to greet park goers here.
