6 Big Predictions For Universal Studios Hollywood's Mystery Announcement

1. A New Hotel

Cabana Bay Universal
Universal Orlando

One thing that Universal doesn't have out in Hollywood is their own hotel.

Universal work with hotels in the LA area as Partner Hotels, the closest of which are Sheraton Universal and Hilton. As of yet they do not have a hotel that they themselves operate. Is that about to change?

Plans discussed on Inside Universal back in 2012 indicated that a 500 room hotel was to be built close to both the parks' entrance and CityWalk. It would be the ideal space to have a hotel owned by the company.

Guests would be just a few steps away from the park. Some of the rooms would also have an impressive view over the park itself.

We won't have long to wait and see just what Universal have planned for their oldest theme park.
