Living with the same family for much of his life Jasper, a Congo African Grey parrot, was fed on a poor diet that resulted in him becoming malnourished. Eventually leading to self mutilation he was delivered to the rescue centre underweight and bleeding from sores on his wings. After providing him a new home Nigel has put Jasper on a new healthy diet of proper parrot food and fresh fruit and veg.
