Whilst we were there Skull Island: Reign of Kong stopped running. Our guide decided that we should ride the neighbouring Jurassic Park: River Adventure as likely the ride would be back up and running by the time we got off, which it was.

If we would have wanted to meet characters then this would have been scheduled into our day. Throughout our time on the tour our guide was always looking to find ways to best optimise our time in the parks and would recommend things to do and what order to do them in.

There was no standing around working out which attraction to do next, we were able to do everything we wanted and somethings that we probably would have skipped, but because we had all the extra time we could do so much more.
