5. Poseidon's Fury

Another show attraction that is often overlooked is Poseidon's Fury at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

The impressive building is designed to look like Poseidon's temple. You'll enter beneath the fallen ruins of a once giant statue of the Greek god of the sea. Once inside you'll be in the middle of an archeological dig.

Archeologists Professor Baxter and Taylor have uncovered a hidden message which leads you into an epic battle with Lord Darkenon. With 200 different fire effects and amazing water displays (including a water tunnel) it's a hell of a show.

Yes Poseidon's Fury is a little cheesy and even features an appearance from Christina Pickles (a.k.a Monica and Ross' Mom in Friends). Ultimately the show is fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. We were so pleased to see it return after a long closure for a bit of a freshen up.
