7 Ways Humans Might Evolve In The Future

7. Monoethnicity

As multiculturalism continues to flourish, different races and ethnicities are mixing together more than ever before. One day in the future, the human race may become so blended together that we will no longer be able to distinguish race or ethnicity at all.

That said, the short term effects may actually be a temporary increase in the amount of ethnic diversity, as new and more complicated "mixtures" are produced by couples of various backgrounds. That said, the mixing together of human genes is a bit more complicated than mixing paint. There are a wide array of genes responsible for our many distinguishing traits, and just skin colour alone could have as many as 100 different genes coding for it.

Perhaps the future of the "human race" (in its most literal sense) is less of a caramel-skinned landscape, and perhaps even more of a hodgepodge than it already is, with all of those different genes being brought together for the first time to create new and exciting flavours.
