8 Killers With Bizarre Motivations

4. Joshua Davies Wanted A Free Cooked Breakfast

Despite the pair being in a relationship, it's said that teenager Joshua Davies "sometimes" hated his girlfriend, 15-year-old Rebecca Aylward.

He would brag to his friends about killing her via poisoning, or by pushing her into a river. His friends then suggested that he should get rid of her, and offered to buy him a cooked breakfast if he actually went through with it. Davies accepted this bizarre offer, and eventually committed the crime in October 2010.

He lured Rebecca into a local wood, where he started beating her across the head with a rock. She quickly succumbed to these injuries, and her body was found the very next day, face down on the ground.

Davies reportedly told his friends "You're on" when they offered him the free breakfast, and, two days before killing Rebecca, he was also said to have texted a friend, “Don’t say anything, but you may just owe me a breakfast".

Because of his friends' involvement in the motive, Davies ended up blaming them for the murder. Ultimately though, Davies himself was found guilty, and was imprisoned.
