8 Reasons Why Maleficent And Daenerys Targaryen Are Basically The Same Person

4. They're Both Lacking In The Critical Thinking Department

Maleficent bestows her €œgift€ to Princess Aurora, a curse that will have the blonde beauty prick her finger on a spinning wheel on her sixteenth birthday and, ultimately, cause her untimely death. She doesn€™t think to consider the three fairies, all of whom possessing magical powers of their own that have the potential to impose a threat to her flimsy plan. The idea of a curse lasting sixteen years is very elegant, sure, but a lot can happen between now and then. Maleficent may be the most evil person in the room, but she certainly isn't the brightest. Meanwhile in Westeros, Dany takes a page out of Abraham Lincoln€™s book and frees legions of slaves from Astapor. Awesome, right? But her altruistic endeavour hits a bit of a snag when it€™s brought to her attention that without structure and order, the city and its people will spiral into lawless anarchy. We know you're new at this, but is this not something you should have foreseen happening, Dany? I guess it's the thought that counts.
