The best thing about the Celebration of Harry Potter is that all the panels, the Expo and Sorting Hat ceremony are all included in the cost of your regular admission. There is no up-charge or additional ticket required.

This means if you have a few muggles in your party who aren't big Potter fans then you can all go and enjoy the day at no extra cost.

If you decide to book a holiday package through Universal you do get some great advantages such as special access to the panels and the Expo. You also get some free merchandise and an exclusive Q&A session with the Talent. These are great perks and if you know you are definitely staying at Universal to enjoy the event then it really is worth doing (if not just to avoid the lengthy queues for the Expo alone!).
