The chances are that if you've survived this far, it's because you're on the other side of the Earth.

Even here, you will hear and feel the impact. Seismic shockwaves would be felt as far away as 5000 km and areas closer than that would see major damage to dams, bridges, railways and massive landslips.

The ejecta from the impact could have been thrown miles into the air, heating the upper atmosphere to as much as 1,482°C (2,700°F). If this happens then the super-heated atmosphere would cause global forest fires, but the skies would darken as the light from the sun is blocked out.

It's probably not safe to come out of your bunker just yet. When you do, a different world awaits you.
