9 Bits Of Tech That Will Change Your Sex Life
7. 3D Printing
With its meteoric rise in popularity, it was really only a matter of time before somebody 3D printed a dildo. The technology is not quite there yet, to the point of being able to use a sex-toy hot off the press, as the printing process currently leaves microscopic gaps and bubbles that are a bacterium's dream home, but a quick layer of spray-on silicone soon sorts that out.
Aside from one day being able to create custom sex toys from the comfort of your own home, the technology could be used for altogether more sci-fi purposes. Scientists at Wake Forest University conducting researching into a rare condition in which the uterus and vagina are absent or ill-formed, managed to essentially 3D print and implant a new one. What's more, it was created using the patient's own cells, eliminating the risk of rejection.
