How it was played: In this strange, and slightly racist game, a group of blue-eyed dolls designed to look like Western foreigners were lined up. Players would spread themselves around the dolls and when one fell over, the player that it pointed to would have to drink up. This is only one of many drinking games that were popular in ancient China, where they were overlooked by referees who stopped things from getting too rowdy. If anyone dropped out of a drinking game, they were branded a coward and sometimes forbidden from returning.
