9 Reasons Why Tony Abbott Is The Worst Australian Prime Minister In History (And He Only Just Got The Job)

9. He Does Not Believe In Climate Change

My personal belief is that anyone who does not believe in climate change are not only the most mingboggingly stupid people in the world (and should be treated as such) but quite frankly, should be charged with crimes against humanity. For regardless of how you believe how it is occurring, whether it be man made or a natural phenomenon, there is absolutely no doubt that it is happening. And it's not only science that is telling us, the planet itself is going through some radical changes as of late that is pretty obvious to even the most dim witted observer. In this country alone we had a 15 year drought followed by rains that pretty much flooded the entire nation in the biblical sense of the word. Our winters are becoming increasingly warmer & our weather patterns are turning into that not too dissimilar to the desert, with extremely hot days but chilly, cool nights. It's right there in front of us people.
Tony Abbott is seemingly not only totally oblivious to any and all that is happening within his own country, but he blatantly describes the world's (not just Australia) scientists conclusions with their findings on the matter as "absolutely crap." The arrogance of this man knows no bounds as he truly believes he is smarter and more informed then all the climatologists, nobel prize laureates, NASA engineers and scientists worldwide that have studied and researched this phenomenon in full. But of course, that won't actually stop him flip flopping on the subject, back and forth like a tennis marathon. Here, I want you to listen to this interview for Sky News back in 2009. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoCKhNr8Atk And this 7:30 Report interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSWozQSZPMg Now it truly amazes me that no one in the Australian public seemed to remember these or any other interviews on the subject for that matter whilst deciding their vote in the 2013 election. In 1 minute and 4 seconds he goes from denying that climate change is even occuring to how he thinks it can be fixed. It's madness. Oh, and did I point out that his solution was for a carbon tax, most notably on motorists. This was his defense against the Emissions Trading Scheme then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was trying to get through the parliament. Might I add this was negotiated with and agreed to by then Opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull, which Tony Abbott seized as an opportunity to contest the leadership, where not only he won but completely reversed his party's agreement and policy. Malcolm Turnbull was not only forced to the backbench but he had to cross the floor to vote on the bill he himself negotiated with supposedly his own colleagues backing. Which went on to eventually fail thanks to the backflip by then Tony Abbotts Liberal/National coalition. But, just over a year later when the Labor Party, the Greens and a few Independents negotiated a minority government that included the introduction of a "carbon tax", this was his position.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-s7mxAd5CU You heard that right folks.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
