Apple iTunes Overhaul: 5 Changes We Want To See

3. Sharing With Social Streams

I'm a sucker for sharing my music (no, not illegally!), in the way of letting people know what I'm listening too. As it stands, only Spotify is able to tell everyone on your Facebook what you're listening too, but I feel we'll soon be seeing (or rather hearing) what your friends are listening to via iTunes. This reasoning comes from the latest wave of integration being made into the recently announced iOS 6, and Mountain Lion, Apples' latest operating systems. With iOS 6 for instance, users can directly Tweet from within the operating system, so sharing what you're listening to doesn't seem so far fetched, does it? This would also serve as a good means for Facebook Pages to share content directly through iTunes. Your browsing say, Bon Jovi's Facebook page, and it turns out they're releasing yet another album. iTunes automatically informs you of this, upon visiting the bands's page. Or maybe I'm just in a dream world.
