Putting aside all the tech specs, interface issues, and possible future implications for your life in the digital age, there's one other massive pitfall of Apple Watch ownership - you'll look like an idiot. So widespread and problematic is the design and concept of the product that there is virtually no argument for owning one other than to show people you'll buy anything with an Apple logo emblazoned on it. "Oooh, look at my Apple Watch" it's owners will coo, before aggressively telling people to "get with the times, man" when they're politely asked what the point of it is. Apple have, despite what people might think of them, revolutionsed the way we work, play and communicate with each other. They made the smartphone an essential tool for everyday life and proved that the implications for tablet computing were almost infinite, but those products were all about functionality and user experience. Apple Watch is all style and, so far, very little substance. There might be a future for wearable tech, but after the failure of Google Glass people will be quick to cotton on to how pointless an Apple Watch is and its owners will be premaritally slapped with the tag of having more money than sense. Rightly so, too. Not convinced? Tell us why you're already putting your pennies away for an Apple Watch in the comments
