Every Epic Rap Battles Of History Ranked

42. Theodore Roosevelt Vs. Winston Churchill

Rappers: Lloyd (Roosevelt) and Dan Bull (Churchill).

While season five often disappointed, this one was noticeably better than most of the others.

Why? Because it retained the excellent performances (Dan Bull's Churchill is particularly terrific) and strong production values that defined the season's other episodes but unlike many of those other episodes, it combined these elements with genuinely strong writing.

The rap battle properly explores both of these absolutely legendary figures, throws in some smashing zingers and it feels like the team really made this battle as good as possible rather than just sending it out once it was 'good enough', which is the sense you get with several of the other season five battles.

Fun fact: The figure of Teddy Roosevelt was often used by the channel in videos giving updates on the series; the battle references this by having Roosevelt exclaim what he often does in those videos: "What's up b**tches!"

Best Line:

Churchill: "They put your fat head on a mountain to save face / But if Rushmore was a band then you'd play bass!"
