Every Epic Rap Battles Of History Ranked
21. Dr. Seuss Vs. William Shakespeare
Battle: Dr Seuss (Mickey Meyer) doesn't actually speak in the battle and instead he gets the Cat in the Hat (Peter) and Thing 1 and Thing 2 (both Lloyd) to rap for him against William Shakespeare (George Watsky).
Say hello to season one's greatest battle. So, why is this one so good? Because it represents a peak of everything we saw in the show's run.
The lyrics were never better in the show's first season than they are here, the visuals (particularly in the Dr Seuss section) are so good they look like something out of a later season and it's just the most entertaining episode of season one all around. It'll leave you both roaring with laughter and marvelling at just how clever everything is.
Also, that wickedly fast second verse for Shakespeare is still one of ERB's best verses all these years later.
Best Line:
Dr Seuss: "You bore people to death / You leave a classroom looking like the end of Macbeth!"
